Appointment reminders for clinics that do not depend on the front desk
Make It Happen builds appointment reminder and lifecycle messaging for clinics: messages that fire on the appointment itself rather than on somebody remembering, confirmations and reschedules landing on the patient's record, recall for overdue check-ups, and delivery figures per flow.
This page describes what the studio builds for this kind of business. It does not claim a delivered engagement in that industry — where one exists, it is published on that industry's own page.
What this looks like today
Reminders get sent when somebody at the desk finds a gap, and on a full day the gap never comes. The three o'clock nobody confirmed turns into an empty chair, and the clinician learns about it by looking at the door.
Recall lives in a spreadsheet somebody exports on a slow afternoon. Patients due for a follow-up, a cleaning or an annual check drift past the date, and nobody notices until they turn up somewhere else with the same complaint.
One patient gets the same reminder twice because two people sent it. Another gets none because each assumed the other had. Afterwards nobody can say what went out, to whom, or whether anybody replied.
What you get
Reminders that fire on the appointment itself, sent by email or on the messaging app your patients already write to you from
Confirmations, reschedules and cancellations landing on the patient's record instead of in a shared inbox
Recall sequences for follow-ups, annual checks and patients who have gone quiet
Templates your front desk edits unaided, per clinician, per service and per location
Delivery, open and reply figures per flow, and one opt-out that holds across all of them
What this is not
We do not become the clinical record. The flows read the appointment and write the reply back onto the contact; notes, histories and results stay in the system your clinicians already use.
We do not advise you on patient consent or data protection law. We wire the mechanics, including an opt-out that applies to every flow at once, and we follow whatever rules your own counsel lays down.
We do not write clinical wording. Anything carrying an instruction, such as fasting beforehand or bringing previous results, is drafted or approved by your clinicians before a flow is allowed to send it.

Questions buyers actually ask
How do we stop patients from not showing up?
Make the appointment itself send the reminder, so nobody has to remember. It goes out on a fixed schedule through email or the messaging app that patient already uses, the confirm or move-it answer is recorded against them, and the flow shows who was genuinely reached. Your desk only touches the ones that change.
Can reminders go out on the app our patients already write to us on?
Yes. One trigger can reach a patient three ways: email, a notification inside the system, or the messaging app they already write to you from. Picking the route is a setting on that flow, not a second tool to run. Answers return to the same contact record, and one opt-out silences all three.
What happens when a patient replies with a medical question?
It goes to a person. The reply lands on the patient's record and in the queue of whoever handles the inbox, marked so nobody mistakes it for a confirmation. Reminder flows carry logistics, meaning when, where and what to bring, and nothing that reads as advice leaves without a clinician behind it.
Have you set this up for a clinic before?
We name no client, and we do not claim a clinic as a case. What we publish as delivered work is listed by sector, and clinics are not on that list. What carries across is the mechanism: a trigger, an approved template, a record that takes the reply. Your own trigger list is mapped in week one.
The possible part of the impossible.
If you have an idea that shouldn't work, bring it. We will tell you which part is genuinely impossible and which part is only hard. Most of it is the second one.
